Meet the Teacher - Mrs. Danielle Harding
Just a little about me.... I moved 12 times while growing up in a military family and had the opportunity to live in some exciting places including Turkey and the Netherlands. I have lived in Colorado for 22 years and has taught third, fourth, and fifth grades. I enjoy hiking, biking, skiing, and playing volleyball with my husband as well as being a mom our 5 year old daughter, Alexis.
If a child can't learn the way we teach, maybe we should teach the way they learn. ~ Ignacio Estrada
Policies, Procedures, and Classroom Information
Per school policy, personal items should not be brought to school unless prior permission is given by the teacher. Each year, my students colaborate to create our classroom expectations which are clearly stated in our Class Charter. Our class charter states,
"As a class, we want to feel joyful, safe, loving, comfortable, and like we belong! In order to have these feelings consistently, we wil make classmates laugh and smile, be with classmates who are leading, include others, be ourselves, and listen to each other. When we do not live the charter, we will comfort classmates, talk it out, ask the person to stop and stop when asked, be ourselves, and get some help."
