Parent Teacher Organization (PTO)

The High Plains Elementary PTO is always looking for parent volunteers!

There are jobs big and small to fit any schedule and no experience is necessary. If you’ve thought about becoming more involved at the school and weren’t sure where to start, let us know which activities or events you are interested in helping to coordinate and join us at PTO meetings where little ones are always welcome!

You can join the PTO Facebook group or email the PTO at highplainspto@gmail.com.

School Advisory Council (SAC)

The School Advisory Council (SAC) is a state-mandated committee of parents and patrons that works with High Plains administration in such areas as goal setting and review, testing results and budget issues.

The SAC also provides information to parents on current events in the district. SAC is the single body of what used to be the accountability, governance and accreditation committees. There are many opportunities for short-term or continuing involvement by parents and community members. Please volunteer your time! Contact the school to get involved.
